First word
Unmistakable.
Offered from generation to generation,
From earth as a baby planet, colliding with fellow spacerocks,
From mom, a single heartbeat, echoing inside, and around you.
From sound, from soul-
Awakening a movement simultaneous with the tides
Synchronized with spring, summer, winter, and fall.
From first sunrise to the first nightfall
From a tempting flicker to the final frost.
Into the wild,
Irreducible to anything less-
A mouthful to chew
A mountain to digest.
The first word leaping off of my chest
Primera palabra,
Inolvidable.
Mantenido de edad a edad
De la pequeña tierra- chocando con planetas
De mamá, una palpitación, a dentro y de afuera.
De sonido, de ánimo
Vive un movimiento, meciendo con las mareas,
Sincronizado con el verano, el otoño, el invierno, la primavera,
De la primera madrugada al anochecer
De una llama tentando un ártico interminable
¿Como puedes faltar algo aqui?
Una boca llena.
Pasando port tu barriga, un montón.
La primera palabra me abandona
